SASHA and PIXRAY Make Every Image Enforceable

SASHA's patented, unlimited unique signatures integrate into PIXRAY's Fair Licensing platform, giving photo and news agencies a way to protect and monetise the non-exclusive content that has been impossible to track until now.

COPENHAGEN, Denmark, and BERLIN, Germany,  June 15, 2026 — SASHA and PIXRAY today announced a partnership that brings SASHA's patented invisible watermarking into PIXRAY's Fair Licensing copyright enforcement platform. With this integration agencies can apply a unique, resilient signature to every image they hold, including the vast non-exclusive archives that have always been too large and too fluid to protect, and then enforce against infringements on that content directly inside PIXRAY.

Through the new SASHA Connector inside the PIXRAY platform, joint customers can validate SASHA signatures on infringements that PIXRAY identifies. When PIXRAY detects an unlicensed use and confirms a SASHA signature on the image, the agency knows with cryptographic certainty that the picture is theirs, which image it is, and that it was not licensed through someone else. From there they can pursue post-licensing revenue with confidence, in their own name.

SASHA offers visual watermarks at scale. SASHA's technology applies an unlimited number of unique signatures, one per image, embedded at the pixel level rather than written into metadata that platforms routinely strip. Each signature survives cropping, resizing, screenshotting, filters, and format conversion, which is exactly where infringers are least careful. Because there is no per-image cost ceiling, agencies no longer have to choose which images are worth protecting. The long tail of non-exclusive content, previously unwatermarked, unmonitored, and effectively unenforceable, can now carry its own identity and be pursued like any premium asset.

Tom Tramborg, Global Director, Media & Publishing at SASHA, said: "For 30 years I watched agencies treat their non-exclusive archives as a lost cause. The economics never worked: you cannot afford to chase an image that has already been distributed widely and licensed a hundred times over, so you stop trying. SASHA changes that. We can put a unique, resilient signature on every single image, down to the last frame in the long tail, and PIXRAY’s customers can enforce against all of it. Content the industry had quietly written off is an asset again."

James Allsworth, VP, Global Growth at PIXRAY, added: "PIXRAY finds the infringement; SASHA proves the ownership. When our visual search flags an unlicensed use and a SASHA signature confirms the source of the image, our customers can use our Fair Licensing platform to monetise the infringement with no ambiguity about who holds the rights. Combining PIXRAY's enforcement technology with SASHA's unlimited unique signatures means agencies can finally recover value from infringements on non-exclusive content that has been slipping through their hands for years."

The SASHA Connector is available on the PIXRAY platform as of June 15, 2026.

About SASHA

SASHA is a Danish deep-tech company that protects the world's images at the source. Its patented technology embeds a hidden, resilient signature directly into the pixels of an image, a kind of digital DNA that stays with the file for life. The signature survives cropping, resizing, screenshotting, filters, and format conversion, and because it lives in the pixels rather than in metadata, it persists where C2PA and other metadata-based provenance is stripped away. This makes SASHA a durable complement to the wider content-authenticity stack. SASHA's ability to apply unlimited unique signatures lets platforms, brands, agencies, and creators protect, monitor, and enforce across their entire content libraries, not just a curated few. SASHA is headquartered in Denmark, with offices in Copenhagen and Odense.
