If an image on Snapchat is being used to harm your reputation, misrepresent you, or portray you in a defamatory way, you can report it by following these steps.
STEP 01
Locate the Image
Go to Snapchat and find the image you want to report. It may be in a story or a profile
STEP 02
Click on the three dots to report. Select what you feel fits your situation
- I just don't like it
- Bullying, harassment and defamation -
- I’m being bullied, harassed or defamed
- Someone else is being bullied, harassed or defamed
- I’m being sexually harassed
- Nudity & sexual content
- Its an inappropriate Snap of me
- It’s an inappropriate Snap of someone else
- It involves a child
- Threats, violence & dangerous behavior
- Hate speech, terrorism & violent extremism
- Drugs & weapons
- Suicide & self-harm
- False information or deceptive practices
STEP 03
Add a comment
- Explain why the photo is harming you. You can also add this statement we have created:
- “This image was shared without my consent and is being used to damage my reputation."
- “I have secured this content before sharing it using SASHA Signature (watermarking technology) in the SASHA app. This technology shows when and how the image was originally shared. I have discovered that it has been non-consensually shared.”
