Step-by-Step Guide
If you want to report abusive behavior involving a message, user profile, or server on Discord, follow these instructions.
Reporting tools for Discord
- For all users
- Use Discord's official guide on reporting abusive behavior: How to report abusive behavior to Discord.
- The link is a guide, and since you report through the app, it therefore requires you to have access to a Discord account.
- For EU residents
- Use the dedicated EU reporting form: discord.com/report.
- You don’t need an account to use this form, but with specific references to the user ID, server ID or message can make it a lot easier for Discord to help you. See under ‘Developer mode’ for more information about how you can get the IDs to support your report
Support your report with unique identifiers
To report specific content, you'll need to provide Discord with unique identifiers such as User IDs, Message Links, or Server IDs. It is especially relevant if you are reporting through the EU reporting form. For detailed instructions: Where can I find my User/Server/Message-ID
